There are so many wrong truths repeated everywhere that sometimes I think it’s my patriotic duty to dispel all this misinformation. Not sure where these lies were created, if they are made up by lazy devs who never ran a single benchmark and want to look good to their peers, or if those are 20 years of benchmarks that reflected the hardware and software environment of the time and just stuck around in the collective mindset.
