Pillars of Low Latency - Connectivity

Following up on the series, I would like to add to everyone’s toolbox the experience with a simple connectivity spec that is representative of the path that the industry is taking toward binary and straightforward protocols.

This is a challenge I use to screen C++ candidates, but I thought it would be worth sharing with my subscribers as it exposes many of the needed skills.
